Does Oyen provide “No Claim Discount” and how do I qualify for “No Claim Discount”?

Oh yes we do! 😃 

If you have not submitted any claims (or only have claims that were not processed) you are entitled to a “No Claim Discount” (NCD)

Here is the NCD you can receive if you do not have claims for your second and consecutive years:
- Year 1 Renewal : 5% with no claims in the first year
- Year 2 Renewal : 10% with no claims in the consecutive 2 years
- Year 3 Renewal or more : 15% with no claims in the consecutive 3 years or more

However, if at any time there is a break in this no claims record, your NCD will reset to 0% at the next renewal of the policy.

If a claim is received after the NCD has been applied, we will recover the NCD given from you.

For multi-pet policies (more than 1 pet in a group)

As long as 1 pet has a claim paid, the No Claim Discount for the entire group will be waived.

For example, Amir signs up for a multi-pet plan for Cat A and B. In Year 1, Cat A has received a claim settlement for RM50 while Cat B has not submitted any claim. In Year 2, both Cat A & B will not receive a No Claim Discount during their renewal year.

However, if both cats (A & B) did not submit any claim, then both Cat A and B will receive the No Claim Discount.
