What is the terms and conditions for monthly payment?

Here are important details you should know about our monthly plans:

Monthly Premium/Contribution Agreement:

  • When you choose our monthly premium plan, it's a 12-month commitment.
  • Your preferred payment method will be charged monthly.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you haven't submitted claims or have rejected/withdrawn claims, you can cancel at any time before your policy's expiration. However, there won't be refunds for outstanding premiums/contributions.
  • If you've submitted claims (including those pending review, payment, or successfully reimbursed), we can only cancel your policy after you've paid all outstanding premiums/contributions.

Failed Payment:

  • If your payment method fails, we'll notify you via email for rectification.
  • After 7 working days, we'll attempt another charge. If it fails again, your policy may be canceled, and you'll need to pay/make outstanding premiums/contributions.

Claims Exceeding RM1,000:

  • When your claim submission exceeds RM1,000 or reaches RM1,000 cumulatively, you must pay/make the balance premium/contribution for the remaining policy year before we reimburse you. This ensures our ability to support all pet parents' vet bills.

Example:

  • Suppose you purchased the cat basic plan in January 2024 for RM32/month (pre-SST, transaction cost and Stamp Duty).
  • On 10th February, you submit a RM1,500 claim, with RM1,000 approved.
  • To receive the RM1,000 reimbursement, pay RM320 (RM384 - RM32 January - RM32 February).

Multiple Pets in One Policy:

  • If you insure multiple pets together, and one pet exceeds RM1,000 in a claim, you must pay/make the remaining premium/contribution for all pets before processing the claim.

Example:

  • You have two cats, each with a monthly premium of RM32.
  • One cat's claim exceeds RM1,000. To process the claim, pay/make the annual premium/contribution for both cats (e.g., RM64/month * 12 months = RM768).

Payment Schedules:

  • If you are insuring multiple pets together, we only allow one payment schedule per transaction. This means that if you plan to insure 3 pets at one time, you will have to choose the yearly or manual payment schedule for all three pets. You will not be able to mix and match payment schedules for each pet.

  • Monthly premium customers are not eligible for certain benefits:

    • 10% Multi-Pet Discount
    • Up to 15% No Claim Discount
