Why am I seeing the full price when I only want to pay for monthly?

When you choose a plan for your fur-baby, you will notice that you can opt for either annual, or monthly. With monthly plans, you can choose to pay via online banking (FPX), or credit/debit card. Here's a quick guide to ensure you know exactly what to expect when you opt for a monthly payment:

For Online Banking (FPX) Users

Upon choosing online banking, you will be required to make two payments. 

1. First Payment

The first payment is a deduction of RM1, to authorise auto-debit for your monthly plan payment. This is just to ensure your future payments are easy and worry-free!

2. Second Payment

After the RM1 transaction is completed, you will be redirected to complete a second payment. This amount will be the total monthly premium minus the RM1 you've already paid.

Example*:

Your total payable for the first month is RM33.92. 

When you choose online banking, the site will guide you to your first payment. 

1st payment = RM1 (to authorise auto-debit)

Once this transaction is completed, the site will guide you to your second payment. 

2nd payment = RM33.92 - RM1 = RM32.92

Your total payable for the first month = RM33.92.


Once you've completed the second payment, you should be good to go! Congrats, your fur-baby is now part of our Oyen family. 🧡

For Credit/Debit Card Users

Choosing to pay with your card might be easier than online banking, as you will only need to make one payment. 

During checkout, you will be prompted to authorise the full year's premium on the OTP page. This is just to authorise auto-debit for the next 11 months, for an easy and worry-free payment.

Example*:

Your total payable for the first month is RM33.92. 

When you choose credit/debit card, the OTP page will show the amount for the entire year RM407.04 (RM32.92 x 12).  This is just to authorise the charge for the next 11 months.

Your actual total payable and what is charged for the first month = RM33.92.


Remember, the full amount displayed during the credit/debit card authorisation process is just for verification. You will not be charged the annual amount upfront.
