Can I cancel my Oyen Insurance Plan?

We’re sorry to hear that you are considering cancelling your plan, but we understand that sometimes unexpected things can happen.


If you wish to cancel your policy for any reason, please keep in mind that you will not be able to cancel your policy if you have submitted a claim (including claims that are pending review, pending payment, or have been successfully reimbursed), unless the remaining premium is paid in full. 

 

Annual Premium Policy

  1. If you have not submitted a claim, or have rejected/withdrawn claims:

    You may cancel at any time before the policy’s expiry date, and you will receive a pro-rated refund from the date you officially informed us.

  2. If you have submitted a claim (including claims that are pending review, pending payment, or have been successfully reimbursed):

    You may cancel at any time before the policy’s expiry date, and no refunds will be made.

Monthly Premium Policy

  1. If you have not submitted a claim, or have rejected/withdrawn claims:

    You may cancel at any time before the policy’s expiry date, but do note that we won’t be able to refund you for previously paid premium, including the monthly premium you just paid prior to the cancellation.

  2. If you have submitted a claim (including claims that are pending review, pending payment, or have been successfully reimbursed):

    You will not be able to cancel your policy unless the remaining premium is paid in full.

You can refer to these steps on how to cancel your policy. Once we receive your cancellation request, a customer care specialist will reach out to you within 3 working days.  Please note that cancellations need to be reviewed, and it will be approved if all the terms & conditions are met.
